Microsoft has publicly announced January 14, 2020, as the end date for extended support, also known as End of Life (EOL), for the Windows 7 operating system. As of this date, Microsoft will no longer produce any patches or updates to address known or otherwise newly discovered issues for the Windows 7 platform. This potentially exposes users of devices with the Windows 7 operating system to vulnerabilities that could potentially be exploited by threat actors—exploits, bugs, viruses, and ransomware. So, if you’re one of the 40% of global organizations still using Windows 7 as your main operating system, we’d like to help you successfully migrate off of Windows 7.

Businesses who haven’t upgraded to Windows 10 will inevitably face cybersecurity risks if they continuing using windows 7. These high risk will expose your business to viruses, data loss, computer corruption and cyber-attacks. These are risks no business can afford to take.
Systems may no longer be Compliant:
After January 14, 2020, your systems will not pass annual audits and your potential security vulnerabilities can and be exploited by hackers to access protected data. Aside from putting your systems at risk by running unsupported operating systems, there’s also a very good chance that you will violate any compliance frameworks that apply to your business. If your sensitive data is breached, the breach can result in significantly high fines. If you do not have a migration plan in place, now’s the time to implement one.
Business Critical Data is at Risk:
Once Microsoft stops providing security patches, technical support and software updates, your mission critical data, personal information, and business continuity will face higher risks after January 14, 2020.
